I have been thinking about making some sort of New Year's Resolution for the coming year and just couldn't think of something that really spoke to me or something that I really wanted to focus on for a whole year. But then the idea came to me about doing a social media detox for a month, and then that led me to think about doing a different 30-day challenge for each month of next year. Now that I could get behind! Something new to focus on for each month. I could do something new for 30-days. And each month would be something new to try and learn. I'm keeping track in another document, but here's my plan for the year:
January - 30 days of social media detox
February - 30 days of learning about Black History
March - 30 days of learning ASL
April - 30 days of meditation
May - 30 days of TED talks
June - 30 days of 10,000 steps
July - 30 days of playing piano
August - 30 days of inspirational articles
September - 30 days of gratitude journaling
October - 30 days of acts of kindness
November - 30 days of daily photos
December - 30 days of yoga
I'll be capturing my thoughts and progress here as the year progresses to try and hold myself accountable. I'm a bit nervous. I've historically never been really good about keeping to these type of New Year's goals, but I think the 30-day part will help. ?? Maybe? Wish me luck!
